Abelardo Morell is a Boston-based artist born in Havana, Cuba. Morell earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bowdoin College in 1977, and a Master of Fine Arts from Yale University School of Art in 1981. Morell’s work has been shown at more than 70 museums, including the Museum of Modern Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
