The Artist in Residence interacts on a daily basis with the general public at the Adirondack Interpretive Center (AIC), speaking informally with visitors while working along the trails or in the studio, and more formally through designing and leading art-based workshops at the AIC. The focus and final outcome of the residency will ultimately be determined in collaboration with the selected artist. The residency will be designed to target the primary self-identified goal of the selected artist and may include, but not be limited to, the work’s choreographic development, integration of technical elements, analysis of audience reaction, or rehearsal/strengthening of existing choreography.
