AgatA was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1960. She attended Warsaw’s School of Visual Art for five years where she earned her Diploma. She was taught traditional methods of drawing and composition which is obvious in her art today. She arrived in Australia in 1982, here she met her husband and a couple of years later started a family.

I have studied with Jacqueline Long, Rosemary Toddman-Parant and Agata Lelek and presently with Lyn Mellady. Participated in workshops with Lyn Mellady, and Agata Lelek and paint outs at PAS, PSV and attended many demonstrations by various artists. Pastels are my first choice of medium for painting although I do paint in oils as well.
