artist bio. Alok Bal (b. 1969, Orissa) completed his B.Com in 1989, followed by BFA from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda in 1998 and his Post Diploma in Painting, also from the Faculty of Fine Arts, M.S. University of Baroda in 2001. In 1998, he won the National Scholarship from the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
