First Friday is a monthly citywide gallery night that encourages collaboration between art venues in Rochester, NY. This initiative showcases area artists and smaller arts institutions by promoting the First Friday evening of each month from 6-9pm as a community night for experiencing art.
Thousands of original artworks, made and donated by celebrities, international and local artists, designers, college students, youths, and YOU. Each artwork will be 6x6 square inches and signed only on the back, to be exhibited anonymously. All artworks will be for sale to the public for $20 each to benefit Rochester Contemporary Art Center (RoCo).

Anderson Alley is my favorite spot to go for First Friday and/or Second Saturday. It has a great group of local artists, entrepreneurs, and one of the hidden gems of Rochester, the local military museum.
