About the Artist. About Me. Although I work primarily in watercolor, I have been painting in various media since the age of ten, which led to my studying fine arts at the University of Dayton. An Amesbury resident since 1994, I work from my studio at The Artists’ Muse, concentrating on watercolor to capture both local scenes and impressions from travels around Europe.
Textile Artist. Ann’s art quilts—made with her hand-dyed fabrics and freehand stitching—are shown in exhibitions worldwide. Her books, workshops, and lectures about dyeing and designing have been resources for fiber artists for many years. Her growing mastery of color and texture continues to produce powerful work that draws in viewers and collectors from all walks of life.
