Artist Statement I favor clean volumes, minimal surface decoration and rightness of scale, which promotes a sense of wellbeing, serenity, and interior balance auspicious for thought. Natural form and texture, and the human emotions it evokes, are a never-ending source of inspiration.

Ann Mallory is a highly skilled and accomplished ceramist. She graduated from Stanford University and has studied at the Parson’s School of Design in Japan. From the strength and beauty of her work, it is clear that Mallory has deeply synthesized her training in both Eastern and Western traditions.
