A.WILDE PARSONS. Exhibited 1882 – 1922. He was a landscape and marine painter in oils and watercolours who lived and worked in Bristol all his life, and mainly exhibited his work at the Royal West of England Academy. Parsons contributed greatly to his local artistic community and in 1908 he became the president and part founder member of a local art society called the “Bristol Savages”.

Sep 27, 2017 · Note: This Tom Thumb Zoo was handmade by Arthur Parsons, who originally created over 100 animals and birds using coloured plasticine. The zoo took over 3,000 hours to make, and was shown on television shows such as Blue Peter and Magpie. Parsons also exhibited the zoo at the Royal Bath and West Show, and was awarded rosettes for his work.
