Arthur W. Hall. (1889-1981) Hall was born in Texas but received his art training at the Chicago Art Institute where he met his future wife, Norma Bassett. His education was cut short by World War I. After his service he moved to El Dorado, Kansas, working as a court reporter. He and Norma went abroad and ended up living in France for two years.

Arthur ‘Art’ William Hall, 55, Rapid City, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018. He was born January 10, 1963 to Max Thompson and Delphine Chapman in Rapid City.
