CYNTHIA KRIEBLE – PAINTINGS. Paintings from the hills of Central Washington, tide pools along the Oregon Coast, and the woods of northern Vermont are featured by Krieble. Light, color, special illusions, and the sensuality of oil paint are used as a means of revealing underlying rhythms and order in the landscape. Cynthia Krieble received her BFA in painting from the San Francisco Art Institute and her MFA in painting from Stanford University. She has been represented for numerous years by Linda Hodges Gallery in Seattle. She is a Professor Emeritus at Central Washington University where she taught both drawing and painting.
