About the Artist. David Welch Burton was born in Connecticut where his first love was playing the oboe. After moving to Florida he quickly realized there was no place to pursue his music career and instead embraced surfing, small beach town living, and the visual arts. Starting with pen and inks he moved into paintings and is currently working in 3-D mixed-media.

This is a beautiful, signed painting by British artist David Burton. It measures 48" wide by 24" high with no frame. The overall condition is good. It could use a cleaning. There is one flaw in the upper left quadrant that appears as a circular stress mark of the canvas that does not diminish the beauty of this painting.
