Jul 16, 2018 · Born in Leeds, Heron spent his early childhood in Cornwall, returning regularly from the mid-40s, and moving permanently to Zennor, near St Ives, in 1956. He claimed to have decided to become an artist at the age of three, and certainly was designing silk scarves for his father’s company from the age of 14.
