Jazz Green studied fine art at Farnham and printmaking at the Royal College of Art in London. While studying at the RCA she was awarded an Erasmus scholarship to study for a term at Athens School of Fine Arts. Four months spent in Athens and travelling around Greece to some of its small islands was an influence in the development of her art.
