Dec 23, 2019 · Since October, artist Joe Pachak has been constructing a 25-foot tall coyote sculpture in the center of Bluff. The body is made of cottonwood, willow, and tamarisk and it’s covered with a “fur” of native grasses. All are local natural materials – “found objects” as Pachak calls them – and all flammable.

This image from 2016 shows the two giant blue heron sculptures – one as tall as 35 feet. The herons were constructed over the past 2 months by Bluff artist Joe Pachak with as many as 50 helpers.
