Jan 30, 2012 · Mads Stage (Danish, 1922-2004) was a very popular illustrator, and there is a huge amount of reproductions around. They often look like original ink drawings with watercolor, but a loupe will reveal the small dots from the photomechanical reproduction. The signature looks like from a pencil, but is reproduced too.
