At the half mile mark of the trail you will come to an old stagecoach road - you can't miss it. The trail to Inspiration Point resumes on the opposite side of the old road. There are several signs here at the junction so you can't lose your way. Take a left here and go downhill for another half mile. Eventually an opening will appear on your left. Artist Point Trail- The artist Point is a 2 mile round trip hike that begins at the Parking Lot for Tunnel View (you’ll just have to be patient in waiting for a spot). It’s a moderate hike that took us about 2 hours (that includes the 30 minutes we spent taking in the view. The trail is slightly difficult to follow.
