Jan 22, 2021 · Artist Point Snowshoe I arrived at the Bagley Lakes parking lot at 10:30 am and there was plenty of open parking. I hit the trail at 10:40 am and was at the top of Artist Point 12:00 noon.

Dec 30, 2020 · A previous reporter said this makes the hike 7 miles roundtrip, but the mileage is closer to 4 miles if you follow the route outlined above. That being said, there are a lot of different ways to get up to Artist Point. For some routes you trade length of hike for steepness. I wound up leaning hard on the steepness factor.Author: Nwroth

Jan 23, 2021 · Once you get up near Artist Point you can get off the main trail and move away from people and play around in the fluffy, untouched powder. That was the best part! If you don’t want to go up to the viewpoint, there are other places to snow shoe down below, without the crowds and the compacted snow. But the 360 view is spectacular.Author: Tacobelle
