If you don’t want to go up to the viewpoint, there are other places to snow shoe down below, without the crowds and the compacted snow. But the 360 view is spectacular.Author: Tacobelle

Jan 22, 2021 · Artist Point Snowshoe I arrived at the Bagley Lakes parking lot at 10:30 am and there was plenty of open parking. I hit the trail at 10:40 am and was at the top of Artist Point 12:00 noon.

A previous reporter said this makes the hike 7 miles roundtrip, but the mileage is closer to 4 miles if you follow the route outlined above.Author: Nwroth
