Mar 23, 2011 · The vertical menu does not have a problem with multiple levels and I have never seen the red x. The module that you apply art-vmenu to must be of type mod_mainmenu. ie don't apply it to a 3rd party menu. There is no link as such between a horizontal menu in user3 and a vertical menu with the art-vmenu module class suffix.

Oct 14, 2010 · It uses a Vertical menu from Artisteer. I have tried everything imaginable to make the sub items appear in the menu. I can get top menu sub items to work simply but saying always show sub menu items in the module parameters. I made sure levels was turned on in Artisteer.

Oct 23, 2012 · It seems like the standard settings in joomla, when you are using a template from artisteer is to not show subitems. I did like this: 1. Go to Extensions 2. Choose Module Manager 3. Choose the menu you want to change 4. On the right side under Modul Parameters, click yes there it says "Always show sub-menu Item" Good luck and excuse my bad english

Apr 06, 2011 · Now, I actually tried taking code (below) from a theme whose drop-down menus, according to Artisteer, work. This resulted in the menu's becoming non-graphical and vertical. Still no drop-down. Of course, I tried manipulating the code below because the targets and image names are different. Of course, it didn't work.

Jun 21, 2010 · Do not expect Artisteer to release a version 3 variant just yet, this is a first release on a major version. Many blogs will be on older versions for a while waiting for plugins to be confirmed as working with version 3, Artisteer will have to support both versions 2 and 3 for a transitional period.
