Mar 23, 2011 · There is no link as such between a horizontal menu in user3 and a vertical menu with the art-vmenu module class suffix. The only reason menus will appear when you click on particular links is if you configured joomla to do that.

To create a custom Vertical Menu with separators: Create/Open your custom Vertical Menu in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus -> [custom menu name]. Go to the "Custom Links" block, enter # symbol in the URL field and name the separator (e.g. my separator 1). Jul 14, 2010 · Also, if you created a joomla template in 2.3, then open it in 2.4, there isn't an option available to add a vertical menu (same problem, the vertical menu position option is greyed out). You CAN though add one by simply changing the layout (simply pick a new layout from two colums to three, then back again, and POOOF vertical menu added).

In the artisteer menu, that is... But when it comes to use this new vertical menu in my site, I get lost.
