Apr 05, 2011 · Artisteer utilizes a single CSS file to manage all aspect of the skin that is created. However, in doing so they also include the CSS for the Articles and Blocks which in DNN these are all considered Containers. As one post early mentioned, Artisteer gives you little control over the naming convention. Why is this a problem?

Feb 15, 2010 · Version 2.3.0.23326 alone solves the DNN forum module 2) The problem is caused by the Artisteer container for both DNN Forum and AF. I tried turning off the module display option and that works for DNN Forum. I also tried using a generic DNN container and applying color to match the skin. That works for both forums.

Jun 21, 2011 · Trying to build a DNN 5.x skin. No matter what settings I use in Artisteer (i.e. Block Spacing, Left Margin Setting, Text Padding), I always end up with no margins at all. Dec 31, 2009 · The Replace method seems to be case sensitive, so it doesn't find 'Containers' because the SkinPath seems to convert to lower case. You may change the template files in C:\Program Files\Artisteer\Library\Data\Templates\DotNetNuke\Export\Files\Containers. So this is little nasty bug and Artisteer should correct it. Feb 12, 2010 · The hardest part of working through all this is that DNN seems to have some flakiness on it's own on how many styles flow through to modules/containers. Then we have Artisteer with it's own issues on how it supports and flows through various parts of DNN as well.

Jul 24, 2014 · Even with Artisteer it was never really fully support to where you could use DNN Tokens and containers correctly. I think I speak for all the DNN skin developers out there, we don't need a tool that lets you add all the content to a website.
