The template design and settings are done as per manual. Instead of showing the vertical menu as illustrated during design, the BLOCK content style is shown.

Oct 14, 2010 · It uses a Vertical menu from Artisteer. I have tried everything imaginable to make the sub items appear in the menu. In Artisteer 4 for Joomla 1.6-2.5 templates you can choose to use one of the following position naming options: "position-1, position-2…" for new Joomla 1.6-2.5 position naming like in the default Beez2 template "left, right, top, bottom" for Joomla 1.5-like position naming (for compatibility purposes)

Sep 29, 2009 · Artisteer menus should be published to "user3" position. I am running a few Artisteer templates with Joomla 1.5.14 and all is okay. Just make sure you publish to the right position and when you upgrade Joomla, make sure your mainmenu module is published to the same position (user3).

But this is the first Joomla 2.5.6 version I've made. I guess it would be possible that the older version of Artisteer does not support Joomla 2.5.6 template? When I switch to other templates such as Beez20 (or any other sample templates that come with the install), the menu tab does not appear at all. I will send Artisteer a support ticket.

Oct 23, 2012 · It seems like the standard settings in joomla, when you are using a template from artisteer is to not show subitems. I did like this: 1. Go to Extensions 2. Choose Module Manager 3. Choose the menu you want to change 4. On the right side under Modul Parameters, click yes there it says "Always show sub-menu Item" Good luck and excuse my bad english

Oct 09, 2014 · In Artisteer the drop-down menu is working properly, but when I upload the template to Joomla! 1.5, the sub-items do not show. Instead, I see the categories' and articles' titles that are supposed to show as subitems in the menu, show in the main bloc as a list or blog (depending on the type I assign to it).

Jan 15, 2016 · What I ended up doing to fix it, is to use a new template from the artisteer library. So, I first exported my current work as an html template so it exported all my content, etc. Then started a new project and just chose one of the templates from the library that pops up.
