Jun 21, 2010 · If you go to the "Menus" configuration page (under Appearance) in Wordpress 3, you immediately see the message "current theme does not natively support menus..." Some WordPress themes doesn’t natively support Menus which has been added in WordPress 3. to solve this problem you have to add this code to your Theme functions.php file first.

Jan 28, 2013 · Any Artisteer theme installed on a current version of Wordpress will not show the horizontal menu if you are using the Mac version. Your updated and new themes will appear fine in the Artisteer "Browser Preview" for any browser, but will not show the horizontal menu on the actual theme install on an current version of Wordpress. I have not tested the Windows version of Artisteer.

Sep 13, 2010 · Help with menus with artisteer template. I have a site that I made a template with artisteer. It is suppose to have a menu under the header, but it does not show on the site, or a block to add a menu there. I downloaded some other templates that I'm having the same problem with. If someone could please let me know what I need to do to fix this asap, I'd appreciate it.

If your theme doesn’t have the navigation support, you can use the Custom Menu Widget in one of the sidebar areas instead. If you getting a warning that says ‘The current theme does not natively support menus, but you can use the “Custom Menu” widget to add any menus you create here to the theme’s sidebar.’ then your theme may not support custom menus.
