In Artisteer 3.1, transparent masks were only available as a special texture effect you selected from the texture gallery. You couldn’t add another texture, and if you wanted a different effect you had to create your own custom texture.

Apr 21, 2010 · I am trying to port a site over to WP that has a very plain text menu bar just sitting on a background - the background has transparency. I cannot duplicate this in Artisteer because the menu bar insists on having a color and does not have transparency options. The product is still a terrific time save without this.

Sep 17, 2010 · @Marjolein: this option is not available in the Artisteer program, so this would require making direct change to the HTML template itself. The procedure that I've described for the menu in the part 2 already solves that problem because the whole sequence - including the Home link - is reinserted.
