We suspect that it could be related to incorrectly uncompressed (zipped) template files, therefore you may want to experiment with such solution: Try unzipping your template files on your Windows computer and re-zip them manually using Windows zip. Then try installing again in Joomla.

Apr 14, 2010 · I have an Artisteer Templates folder, and all my attempts including the final are in there, but when I navigate there I can old see the top file folder with an images folder in it, and artisteer is not seeing an artx file within them. I mean, I worked on this for days.

Jun 10, 2013 · It saved without any problems. I then renamed the zip file from 'name.zip' to 'name.artx'. (dont worry if the thumbnail does not change to an image of your site). Load this in to Artisteer as you would with any other project. Then re save as an Artisteer file (.artx) with out any problems. I have only done this once with Artisteer 4.

I just did a clean install on J3.1.1 and the first import went fine... later when I installed a template update the import failed with "Request failed: 500" response.
