Starting with version 4.1 Artisteer generates footer widget areas by Content Layout cells in Footer. For the compatibility with the themes created with previous Artisteer versions, the "old" footer widget areas layout is also kept in the WP themes exported from Artisteer. Sep 04, 2010 · Unfortunately, the 'widgets' are controlled by Wordpress and there is no telling what you might add as a widget at any given time, or how a plug in might have it's own widget code that Artisteer might have to account for.

Feb 25, 2013 · I am querying the same thing. In V3 & V4 betas it was fairly straightforward, you could add and remove widget/sidebar areas by editing the Sidebars.php file and configuring the CSS in the styles.css file + adding or moving the php sidebar calls as needed.
