Jun 10, 2013 · I then renamed the zip file from 'name.zip' to 'name.artx'. (dont worry if the thumbnail does not change to an image of your site). Load this in to Artisteer as you would with any other project. Then re save as an Artisteer file (.artx) with out any problems. I have only done this once with Artisteer 4.

Jan 07, 2014 · An Artisteer project .artx is just a zip file, so it's corrupted then. You could try and change the .artx to zip and open it with some other decompressor like winrar. If you can get it to unzip the you could rezip it and try opening with Artisteer.

Jun 23, 2009 · I have my Artisteer template in a zip and can not find the original to work from. Please tell me there is a way to import the zip back into Artisteer. I just don't know how. ... I assumed it would included the artx file in the export as a backup... But that would be too sensible :) cheers Dave

Jul 28, 2013 · I did the design in Artisteer and saved it, and the result was a 'gamrupa.artx' file (because I named it so.) Subsequently I exported the design as a Joomla template, and the result was a 'gamrupa.zip' file that, when unpacked, included, among others, the css files.

Apr 12, 2012 · I'm also a 20+ years professional programmer with experience in many areas, and I'm extremely interested in this import feature, and looked at Artisteer .artx (= .zip) files, and at Joomla templates, e.g. the "beez_20" template, and my impression is that such an import feature would be extremely difficult to program.
