Soffici was an Italian writer, painter, poet, sculptor and intellectual. In 1908, he moved to Milan and came into contact with the first progressivist and modernist fervors. He is an exponent of a non-Marinetti Futurism, calmer, less destructive and with a perspective always aimed towards reality.
