Artists United Against Apartheid was founded by activist and performer Steven Van Zandt (Little Steven) in 1985. Other organizers included Arthur Baker, Rick Dutka, Owen Epstein and Danny Schechter. They produced the anti-apartheid record Sun City. A related video was also produced.
