Dec 18, 2020 · Indian ink will not do for this work as when it dries it becomes waterproof and therefore permanent. I use a product called Quink, which is soluble in water and does not dry permanent. When bleach is applied it affects the ink by bleaching out the colour and leaving a bright stain that gives the dynamic effect of light against the dark of the ink.

Jun 05, 2015 · Using black paper (regular black cardstock, not coated), we first stamped our images with black Versafine ink. Probably any black pigment ink would work. You can emboss your image with clear embossing powder, but you do not have to emboss. The bleach will affect the black ink, but it will not take it out entirely.Author: Dianne Johnson

Mar 03, 2010 · It's one of my favorites out of probably 100 art books. The process is really quite easy with the only draw back being you need to use 35mm photographs. You can't bleach an ink jet print (to my knowledge.) You can add some additional things to the photo prior to the bleach dip.
