My Bernina Artista 730 sews great, however the original USB stick cannot be read by the machine or my computer. I went to the Bernina store and their remark was yes that model has problems doing that. I bought two new sticks and after embroidering less than ten designs, it will not read the new stick.

Jul 17, 2008 · My mother has the Viking Designer 1, I have the Bernina 730E. I've used both for embroidery and regular sewing and prefer the Bernina. There are some neat features with the Designer, but the Bernina has a solid, smooth feel to it. It purrs, and is a good sturdy workhorse of a machine.5/5

Mar 21, 2007 · I also refuse to use it as I've had such a bad time when I did. But we have 3 other Berninas between us (I have two) and will never part with them. They are definitely worth the money. I'll write up a review of my Artista 730E after a few months of solid heavy use. So far, I only have good things to say about it. Dealer included.5/5
