Betty Berger, author, columnist, historian and artist, died Saturday, April 5, at home in Inglis, according to granddaughter Layla LaLiberte. Berger, 96, was the author of “Back Roads,” a collection of columns previously published in the Crystal River Current, and “Heaven to Earth.”
