Bio. Bill Hall was born and raised in south Alabama. He received his BFA degree in studio art from the University of Alabama in 1973, following a four-year stint in the Air Force. In 1976, he earned an MFA degree in painting and printmaking from the University of Texas, Austin. Moving to New York in 1982 marked the beginning of Hall’s career as a collaborating printer.
