Rustenburg Artist, Bill Mc Gill was born in Greytown, Natal in 1934. In 1944 the Mc Gill family moved to Rustenburg in the NW Province and Bill was educated at Rustenburg High School and King Edward VII High school in Johannesburg. Bill has painted in watercolours for fifty seven years and has taught art for forty five years, first at Rustenburg Technical College and later at his own studio.
