endi, you’re a great artist and you probably always strife for perfection but blender’s EnvMap are not that bad . You can mace recurrent EnvMaps now, and I’m used at solving the intersection problem by using booleans/knife. Stefano

I think, the only way to do this is an animated texture. Though I do not know which program can create a seamless texture video. But if you use a procedural 3d texture, moving the empty will surely create fluid movement, since what you see is the result of a crosssecton. HH. Dani (Dani) April 23, 2018, 10:41am #5.

Sorry for the cross post, I wanted to reach out to the people trying to code the blender game engine. Check the video link below. Lets face it Blender is the best 3d application available, but its game engine runs way too slow because of : Python is a scripting language (slow) and Blender has too complex materials and meshes and what not. The guy who started it all for me. It was his 2004 render titled Snog that kickstarted my passion to learn Blender, and looking back at it now, it still is as impressive as it has been. Since the first open movie Elephant's Dream until the latest ones, Andy has been on board as Art Director, Lighting, and Compositing Artist. No wonder these films look so good.
