Born 'in the bush’ in 1935, probably in the area of Lake Dennis, Bridget Mudjidell was a member of the Ngarti language group. Her country was Tulku, on the west side of Lake White near Yagga Yagga. She mainly painted about food and water sources in this region. The artist spent the first part of her life in the area and knew it intimately.
