Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition was formed in 1976 by a group of 16 artists looking simply to exhibit their work. These one day exhibits popped up everywhere from breweries to barges floating in the east river. In 1986 “BWAC” moved to its permanent home in the Red Hook neighborhood of Brooklyn.

All work must be picked on the scheduled pick-up days after each show, or they become the property of BWAC.
