Calvin Hunt is renowned for large monumental sculptures. He has lived in Fort Rupert since 1982. In May 1988, Calvin carved and raised the Hunt Pole, which is hereditarily owned by his brother Chief George Hunt Sr. He also carved a memorial grave figure for his father at the Fort Rupert Cemetery.
