Went to template manager and opened my new template to see, under Menu Assignment "cannot assign default template" so got out of there and checked out Beez and the others that are there with a Joomla install and each of them picks up my menus.

Aug 29, 2012 · And neither has Artisteer. At this point, I'm very demoralized, actually. At any rate, when i try to assign the Artisteer template that I've exported to Joomla as the Joomla default template, I get: a) no menus; b) no 3 column layout that I see in artisteer; c) AND this message in joomla under "Menu Assignment": 'Cannot assign default template.'

Log in to your Joomla Administration and select Extensions -> Template Manager. Select your newly uploaded template from the list of available templates for your site and put a star next to it. Click the "Make Default" button to activate your template.

If the Export pull down doesn't give you the choice between Joomla template and HTML, you haven't specified it yet. In the IDEAS tab, go to the Export Box at the end of the line, be sure to click the Template pull down next to the Export pull down.

That mean who need several template want probably sell that template or sell services related to joomla. So I think template header are the most important point because generally it contain a logo, title and header image and so need to be very flexible part.

Since I do not have the .zip file of my VersatilityIV template, I used WINSCP to simply transfer the entire template folder and contents to the appropriate directory on the root from my local pc.
