Carol Schwartzott holds an MA in anthropology and fine art from the University of Buffalo and a BS in Art Education from Buffalo State College. She currently [2006] works out of her studio in New York State. She has exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Crafts and the De Cordova as well as the Smithsonian Museum.
