-Cathy Zander Inspired by Monet’s waterlilies, at the age of eight Cathy took her first art class at the Cleveland Museum of Art. By eleven, Cathy had decided she wanted to be both an artist and an art teacher. When she was only 16, she started teaching three art classes on Saturdays at the local YMCA.

Apr 17, 2019 · Los Altos resident Cathy Zander developed a love of art at an early age. She grew up in Ohio and as a child would regularly visit the Cleveland Museum of Art. Now an accomplished painter, Zander is set to participate in the annual Silicon Valley Open Studios tours, held during the first three weekends in May.
