Using proprietary software, C.E.B. Reas focuses on defining processes and translating them into images. The design for Process 14 is from a series in which Reas assigns behaviors to visual elements without directly controlling them. Structure emerges as the behaviors unfold and the elements modify themselves in relation to their environment.
