Charles Sim MOTTRAM. 1852. 1919. fl 1876-1903. Born in Rotherham, Yorkshire, the artist began his artistic career from London (Stoke Newington and Hampstead) and ultimately moved to St Ives, Cornwall in 1901 with his wife Sarah and son, Arthur Mottram (age 14). They lived at 23 Bellair Terrace.
