Artist Statement Chris Davis was raised on a dairy farm in Southwestern PA and has been a resident of the Blue Ridge Mountains since 1971. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, business woman, artist, faux finisher, muralist, decorative painter, art instructor, mentor, coach and lover of life. In 1975 she began painting professionally under the name of Studio Redwood, Inc.

Birmingham native Chris Davis studied at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham, Alabama, and is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art & Design, with a Bachelor’s degree in graphic design.While in Georgia, he designed an official T-shirt for The Savannah Jazz Festival.
