Chris Nelson is a licensed artist for the Baltimore & Ohio (B&O) Railroad Museum. His passion for trains (and railroading) began at a young age while taking trips onboard the B&O with his parents. He began drawing both trains and airplanes at an early age and started painting around age 12. He contimnued to paint throughout his educational years, selling most of his work through local frame shops and art shows.
