Otherwise, I suggest going into the VA albums and adding an Album Artist tag of "Various Artists" or something to otherwise group the album together. Once you have that, %album artist% will return the same thing for the whole album, and it will even return the Artist tag when the Album Artist tag isn't set.

Dec 13, 2008 · How can I use the columns ui setting of filters (the three boxes at the top with genre, artist, album) to filter a playlist rather than my media library? The problem is currently I all my songs in a playlist called "All songs". I don't use media library because first, some of my songs are a big flac/ape and uses cuesheets to divide them.
