Oct 13, 2020 · Violinist Ariel Horowitz, percussionist Britton-Rene Collins, and Empire Wild were awarded ambassador awards. Previous CAG 1st prize winners include the Pacifica Quartet, violinists Jennifer Koh and Joseph Lin – and VC Artists InMo Yang , Yoojing Jang , Jordan Bak , and the Verona String Quartet.

Pianist Ching-Yun Hu, a 2009 CAG Competition Winner, appears on the CAG Winners Series on January 25th at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall. Her program features the New York premiere of Carl Vine’s Sonata No. 3 (2007) as well as works by Beethoven, Ravel and Chopin. Jessica Lee (violin, honorable mention) was the grand prize winner of the 2005 Concert Artists Guild International Competition. She has appeared in solo and chamber performances all over the world. She was a long-time member of the Johannes String Quartet, which toured with the Guarneri String Quartet in its farewell season.
