Conn 1960s Vintage 8B“Artist” model Trumpet For sale is a rare 1960s vintage Conn trumpet model 8B“Artist LT” Serial number K12750, built by C. G. Conn Company in Elkhart, Indiana in 1967. It has a 4.5/8-inch bell and.438-inch bore. It is silver-plated brass with no lacquer on it. No dents, cracks, patches, or other repair issues.

Sep 04, 2019 · 8B artist is the later 8B and is like the 36b connstellation. Same bell same bracing same bore and slides. BTW the connstellation bells were not electroformed copper bells. just regular brass spun bells and then nickel plated with a flash coat of copper to make the nickel stick. The nickel plating is thick and tough and has a great sound.
