ARTIST STATEMENT — CONOR MCCREEDY OFFICIAL. Mccreedy's work is derived from four essential themes: a singular focus on one colour; inspiration from the heroes of Abstract Expressionism; a long fascination with Chaos Theory; and a sincere reverence for nature. McCready made his first lyrical contribution for the band with the track "Inside Job", which closes the band's 2006 self-titled album. McCready also cites punk rock band Social Distortion as a major influence, claiming to have seen them live over fifteen times.
