This is a great example of a Couf Superba I Baritone Saxophone. The Couf bari has a big, warm tone and sounds as good as any other vintage bari out there. The keywork is comfortable, and the horn has good intonation as well. This one has the low A key, and goes up to high F. H Couf Artist Tenor – these pieces have a cult following, and play great for smooth jazz and other styles where you need some cut and projection. This outwardly bland looking piece has a super high step baffle. The tip opening is 0.085″ so it’s easy to play even though you get a bright, loud sound.
